Juseu, Spain
It’s true – A picture or in this case a slideshow is worth a thousand words . . . enjoy!
Welcome to Juseu, Spain.
Juseu is an authentic village (about 40 permanent residents) at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Ribagorza area of the province of Huesca in Aragon.
The village is situated on an elongated rock cliff with magnificent views in all directions. Explore centuries-old paths that lead to other villages, Romanesque churches and abandoned monasteries.
The Mediterranean mountain landscape (dotted with almond and olive trees) is alternately rolling and then rocky steep. You can swim in the mountain streams and at the lake of Joaquin Costa (15 minutes drive).
Climate
Throughout the year, the sun shines almost every day. In winter, it can easily be 20 degrees in the daytime. The summers are warm (sometimes hot) and dry, but thanks to the height of 800 meters, there is almost always a fresh breeze. In summer you can sit outside almost every night and enjoy the breathtaking starry skies.
Retreat Homes
Our home for the retreat will be a collective of stylishly restored houses in the village. They have plenty of space for you and your room mates to rest and find a little solitude. All have beautiful views and private terraces. Our hosts have a passion for aesthetics with a love for authenticity. They have been designed for retreat, rest and recharge.
Each house has between 2 and 5 bedrooms, is typically set up for self catering, so there is a common kitchen and sitting areas, though we will be serving you meals at the School building. Bedrooms are double bed or two singles, showers & baths in the hallways are typically shared.
Our homes in Juseu provide an ideal place to give yourself peace and tranquility. Time and again people are touched by the view of the endless spaces of this ancient landscape where the world has no control over yet.

Sound divine? We think so too. Consider joining us – life lived simply, beautifully and art(fully).
Please reach out if you would like to learn more about our future offerings.
